@Whiskeyman43 For the KC18, yes. For the MM, no....

Peated party on the deck tonight. I’m without adult supervision tonight so It’s only a party of one, or two if you count Bob Seger playing on the speaker.

I don't have the 10 nor have I ever drank it. Geez, now I guess I'll have to buy a bottle for comparison.

Yes, for science of course! I think the 10 is the standard offering of Eagle Rare.

Great find! Excited to hear how you like it.

The King of the affordable and semi-easy-to-find class of bourbons. In my opinion. Tastes far above its price range.

Love Buffalo Trace. It’s finally coming back around here and not badly priced, $39.99.

Whiskeyman53 They expanded several years back to amp up production so I think that's finally getting into the market. It shouldn't be that high though, merchants are gouging. It's still a $28 MSRP. Two stores near me sell it at $10 higher, but one still sells it at $28.

I just picked up a 1 liter bottle of Buffalo Trace for $29.00 at Patties settlement in Ky. 750 are usually $39.00 in Southern Illinois

Huskee I have only come across this once.
Now it is my decanter. Click image for larger version Name:	IMG_6528.jpg Views:	0 Size:	3.02 MB ID:	1760053

That one is excellent. You factor in the price and it's a force!

It's easy to find around here, in pretty much every iteration. Not a big fan...it's okay...but I'm not a huge fan of BT either

That's amazing. If a person is a fan of the BT flavor, then they are one lucky duck to have those available nearby at those prices! My BIL and I only found them when we traveled down to Indiana and Ohio, never here up in MI.

A special pour tonight for what would have been my Father’s 100th birthday.

So funny Skinsfan1311. I just picked up a bottle of Bulleit single barrel store pick yesterday also. See below.

Knob Creek store pick single barrel rye. An excellent rye.

I love my Knob Creek Rye Single Barrel store pick that I purchased in Western New York a year and a half ago. The only thing I don’t like about it is that it’s almost gone. 😔

Those KC SB picks are excellent & very underrated. I bought 3 bottles from one of my favorite liquor stores, and this is the last one.
        I'm drinking it sparingly....

Same here, I have maybe 2 healthy drams left in the bottle. I doesn’t drink the proof 115.

ssandy_561 & Alan Brice I traveled to New York last week and in Ohio in the way home, at a Kroger that I've stopped at 2 or 3 times before (Perrysburg), I picked these up.

Sipping the Bonded now and it's even it's better than I remember. Toasted caramel on the nose, invitingly so, and oh so goooood on the tongue, inviting caramel and buttered cinnamon roll with a decent burn! Worth triple its price IMO.

I plan on buying all 6 bottles of Benchmark available to me some weekend and have some friends over to enjoy a pour of each. I consider it a great $120 investment for a fun evening with friends. I’ll make sure I post about our experience.

Friday after work I picked up a bottle of Wilderness Trail Bourbon and I’m glad I did.

I saw a video about this distillery and liked what I saw. They use a lot of science to make the Bourbon they do.

On the nose it’s sweet with some cherry. That sweetness and cherry flavor continue on the tongue. It’s smooth with just a bit of burn on the finish. The taste lasts after it leaves the mouth. It also has just a touch of funk like some of the small producer of bourbons I like.

Saturday early morning we drove to Western New York to see some friends and family and then drove home that evening. While there I picked up a store pick of Bulleit Bourbon from the local liquor store. So glad I did. The owner was not in and the young kids there knew nothing about it. I’m not sure how long it was in the barrel but it’s 104 proof.

I’ve liked everything I’ve tried from Bulleit and this did not disappoint. It has the sweet and spicy flavor like the other Bulleit Bourbons I’ve tried and enjoyed. It also has a subtle orange and maple note to it that I really like.

This 1897 is really tasty and not a ball breaker on price. My new regular pour. Not sure why it escaped me before now.
