Picked up a commemorative bottle, of Joe Nuxhall bourbon made with maple bats in the aging process, this morning. Mostly wanted to support the Joe Nuxhall Foundation, supporting sports programs for athletes with special needs, scholarships, and character education programs.

Picked up this for $39 at the local store. Totally took a chance on it, had no prior info on it. A bit “Fruity”, almost an apple flavor, but very subtle Little bit of bite on the back end, but for forty bucks, not bad.

I always buy the same stuff. But I was gifted this. It’s super interesting. I thought it would be too sweet but it’s really well balanced w almost a peety smokiness.

Finally able to get out on the deck here in Michigan. This is a bottle from Ducks Unlimited that was gifted to me. I guess DU got a barrel and had it bottled for the Michigan chapters. Couldn't find who was enjoying their deck in Texas a while back but we finally got out today. Along with a nice Nestor cigar.
