I haven’t contributed in a while…have really only been sippin Old Fashions this month and dry January…so, here’s one of my favs!!!

Picked up the bottle of AE a few weeks ago, I like higher proof bottles and was excited to see AE with a SiB with some proof to it! Has that AE port flavor profile with the proof!

some KC18 on this fine Sunday afternoon! I think Skinsfan1311 likes this pour - now I need to find the 21yr bottle!

Good call. I have a backup bottle of the 18 and a 21. For the money, I think the 18 year is better. The 21 is a bit dry on the finish as you would expect for an older whiskey. They're both very good and I'll probably snag another 18, but the 21 is a "one of" purchase and the pours will be few and far between.

Been a day…well, been a crazy past 5 weeks…this is a nice pour for a JD Heritage Tuesday.

I had a bottle of that awhile ago and offered a friend a taste. We were in Toledo, OH for a funeral, staying at a hotel. I got the bottle back the next day empty. Friends, right?

@lkflowers The Heritage is excellent whiskey and not the easiest to find, especially reasonably priced. You have some smart friends! Hopefully they drank it straight and didn't mix it with Coke!

Skinsfan1311 it was only one friend, one shot at a time. I showed him the bottle and we had a couple drinks out of it together. Next morning, he apologized. With a hangover.

barelfly I don't know yet. I'm off on Fryeday so I'll wait until Thursday night to try it. It'll be JD night..nothing but Jack will be poured tomorrow night...

Finally cracked this one. It punches above the 107 proof and is really in my wheelhouse. It really opened up with a few drops of water.

This is very, very good. If I find another one in the $200.00 range, I'm a buyer.
