    All this reminds me that I was supposed to re-season my griddle this weekend.

      I didn’t use the leftover pesto in my casserole, so I used some of it for this morning’s breakfast. That’s rosemary/olive oil sourdough toast, ricotta cheese, bacon, eggs, and pesto.

        I’ve been watching that actually. Right now my other go-to is avocado/tomato toast, and avocados are through the roof, too. And good tomatoes this time of year…. Maybe it’s time to check out that Soylent Green I’ve been hearing so much about.

      Solid breakfast burrito. Eggs, rice, ham, cheddar, onions, tomato and avocado. Oh, and habanero hot sauce. Delish.

          Heavy rain and extremely windy outside but sunny indoors at the table. Eggs, grits, country ham, biscuits and plenty of red-eyed gravy.

            A great Southern breakfast.

          I have zero omelet making skills or knowledge so I guess this is a hybrid of scrambled Hondashi eggs and an omelet. I beat 2 eggs with a 1/2 tsp of Hondashi for some nice umami and used up the mushrooms and spinach that were about to go bad in the fridge.

            The Tooth Fairy brought me breakfast. Boring! On “soft food” diet after tooth extraction this week 🙄. One microwaved egg and a muffin. Y’all are killin’ me with your yummy lookin’ breakfasts! 😁

              Croque monsieur.

              This was pretty simple. Fry up some ham in butter, put it in the middle of an uncooked grilled cheese sandwich (I added a couple tomato slices), then dip it in a scrambled egg (both sides) and grill until the cheese melts. Delicious.

                  At the trade show, the KA people said that they looked good! They were just way dense.

                Trying to duplicate the Sausage Egg McMuffin.
                english muffin, sausage, one minute microwave egg, cheddar cheese
                I got this now, will start variations next!

                Just slummin’. The hash and hash browns discussions made me do this, because. It’s kinda backwards from that discussion, which, by the end of it, had the eggs on top.


                I made a frittata with peppers, tomatoes, and onion, and topped it with hash browns.

                Then I melted some cheese on top of it. Because that cheese isn’t going to shred and melt and eat itself.

                  Forgot to post this last weekend. We went to a maple syrup sampling last Saturday and I got a gallon of maple syrup straight from the evaporator. I’ve never had maple syrup this fresh, so for dinner that night we made Amish cinnamon swirl bread French toast. Pictures was taken before the maple syrup was drizzled over the top.
