      Man, now I want to fire up the griddle!

      But... yeah. got stuff to do. Today The Boy goes off to college. And there's lots to do. <sigh>


      <edit> I almost never eat breakfast anyways, though it's probably my favorite meal overall.

        Nothing like a quick breakfast on the griddle. Had some leftover steak, so decided some steak and eggs were for order.

          Well dang, after all of my boasting and general loud-mouthery I totally missed this thread. I built a dang nice bacon, sausage, green onions and feta omelet this morning.

          Hash Brown Omelette, not my recipe (I followed the True North Cafe's version)
          Start hash browns, onions, Canadian bacon.



          Add peppers, onions, bacon and cheese, pour in the scrambled eggs, Throw on some of my Pastrami bacon, and a couple of sausages for the DD.



          Fold it over.

            Not that I am aware of. Sonnenberg's has been in Spokane since 1891, making it the oldest market in Spokane today. The sausage is out of this world good.

          Let me preface this by saying I am currently dating a nurse. She is concerned about the amount of bacon in my diet, so she introduced me to this alternative. Non fat vanilla greek yogurt, fruit (cherries today), granola and some Penzys spice. It is actually pretty good. I was shocked.

            The good news is she's only concerned about "how much" bacon you eat. 😀 Therefore, you still get to have some bacon! 😀 That looks pretty tasty though.

          I mixed leftover stuffed long hots into some scrambled eggs.
          Black cherry tomatoes w/ provolone, toast, and coffee.
          Even served it up on a real plate...lol
          Easy like Sunday morning..

          I had this at a local place this week and I am ticked that I forgot to get a pic, but holy cow, it was amazing.

          Mario Batali prepared an extra special brunch recipe for special guest Meat Loaf: his Crab Cake Eggs Benedict.

              Was getting ready to make biscuits, and came across a fube of pop biscuits in the fridge a week away from their expiration date. Amanda must have bought them for a breakfast once while I was in NY or FL for the kids and never used them. Now I remember why I never use these, and make em from scratch. YUCK. any who here was breakfast. 2 eggs over easy, 3 rashers of bacon, and 3 wads of uh...hardtack.

                Love the fresh San Marzanos! Where did you get them? The best I can get this time of year, now that Wegman’s no longer carries Kumato tomatoes, are the Jersey tomatoes, but they aren’t as sweet. And eggs scrambled with cheese and long hots… heaven. A worthy breakfast.
