I guess I will continue to post breakfasts I did not cook but were still good. Poached eggs on top of sliced stuffed jalapeño cheese sausage, potatoes, onions, cheese and green peppers.

Instead of stir fried eggs and cucumbers I made (bottom to top) toast with avocado, tomato, over easy egg, cheese, and home made red hatch salsa.

Biscuits, scrambled eggs, fried eggs, Dewberry jelly, venison sausage gravey made with 1/2 milk, 1/2 poultry stock (ran out of milk). Used a can of pop biscuits my mom left in the fridge from when she visited last. Won't do that again. I don't remember them being that bad when I was a batchelor.

texastweeter back when I lived in Plano, TX when the only thing there was south fork ranch 😝 I worked for a GC. We always had breakfast at his mom’s place before work. Scrambled eggs, chili, biscuits and this most amazing jam. Are dewberries a local berry and could it be the jam of my tasty memories?

They resemble very small blackberries, and grow on a thorny creeping ground cover all over ETX. They have a delicate white flower that grows into a red cluster of berries that darken and get sweeter and softer as they ripen. That very well could be the jelly you remember. SheilaAnn

Just curious, but why a separate thread from SUWYC? No biggie, just wondering.

Finally! A breakfast we made. Eggs, potatoes, sour cream, onions, Mexican rice, smoked chipotle hot sauce, and delicious crispy bacon. Oh, some ketchup! This is part of our famous “breakfast for dinner” series.

You're exchange student is going to need bariatric surgery before going home because you've fed her so well 😂

Pulled pork hash and over medium eggs fried in browned butter.
Love when the edges of the egg white get crisp 😋

SheilaAnn yes, those are yard eggs.

Possibly the last breakfast I make for Amanda and the kids for a while. I leave out tonight to meet my Dad and take him to my property in Jefferson for a hunt that may last up to a week.
A big thank you to Richard Chrz! I left my starter out this summer on a vacation to Galveston, and it died. I had neglected to dehydrate some as a backup. Won't happen again. He was generous to send me some of his, and we are back in business. Just what I needed for these sourdough waffles.
