Nothing I don’t do every day. But this ham is pretty good. It’s from Wegman’s (like H-E-B, but Mid Atlantic states), called “Celebration Ham”.

And this cheese is interesting. It’s called 4 Pepper Cheddar. Instead of the peppers being incorporated into the curd, it looks like they cut the cheese into bricks, then rolled it in the pepper mix before packaging.

I don’t know much about cheese making. But I’ve eaten a lot of pepper cheeses, and the cheese itself is usually pretty young. This cheddar is mature, with a nice bite.
All this goes with some artichoke hearts (from a can, sorry, I haven’t steamed an artichoke in decades) to make a nice quick omelet.
