Bkhuna Yep! My mom used to make it as a dinner dish by slicing then baking it. She always served rice with it into which we would mix the liver puddin’. A sweet potato usually was a side. Yum!
I’ve also eaten scrapple, a NJ/PA delicacy sort of like lp. It gets sliced thin and pan fried until crispy on the surface. Yum again.

Nice pancakes. With our stovetop, it’s extremely difficult to dial in the perfect cooking temp until one or two batches are done. If I don’t turn it down after that first batch, batches 3 through five will end up blackened.
My wife isn’t too concerned about shape, so we get some Rorschach pancakes unless I smooth them into rounds with the bottom of the ladle.

I of course love smoked meats of all kinds, but also like quick cooks like chicken portions, pork tenderloins, steak and fish. Really into cooking of all kinds.
My outdoor kitchen has a Lone Star Grillz Adjustable and it is wonderful. There also is a Pit Boss 5 Burner Ultimate Griddle and a Pit Boss Copperhead pellet grill.
There is an outdoor fire pit that has grilling capability and limited Santa Maria-style grill raising and lowering.

Large Big Green Egg, Weber Performer Deluxe, Weber Smokey Joe Silver, Fireboard Drive, 3 DigiQs, lots of Thermapens, and too much other stuff to mention.
Another use for fromage fort: use it on top of an omelet rather than inside. I wanted it to brown on top, but this is my first try at it. Maybe a little panko or Parmesan will dry it out some.
About this much.
Then fold, cheese on top, and under the broiler until you smell the cheese browning:
Sea salt, cracked black pepper, and chives.
