If you enjoy a good rye, this is one of my favorites, it is far better than the single barrel select rye, but not quite as good as the barrel proof. But,if you have not tried this, you should. I love that this is so available, wish it were a bit bigger bottle, but not complaining.

Huskee for me, this has earned a forever in my home. Their whole bonded series 100 proof is really good.

Nothing much to see with an extra dry martini w/ no garnish (my preference), except I thought the background looked cool.

              Fancy indeed. Well done artwork.

I still enjoy a good rum vs. a 86-90 bourbon or whiskey. Now when we talk barrel proof, and high ryes, that’s a different story, I like a bold whiskey’

Im chilling to some music and enjoying a warm spring day out back. Just taught a friend what he needs to know on his new 26 kettle, he’s ordering his FireBoard tomorrow, and left with a bag of BB.

Yowsa! I’ve had the Grahams 20 & 30 so this stuff must be over the moon. Gratz on a great choice and pour.

I wanted to go for the 30 but they were out of it so, seeing as it was my birthday dinner, I splurged on the 40. It was great, but probably not with the $$$$.

Mari Jo and I just finished binge watching Only Murders in the Building on Netflix with Steve Martin, Martin Short and Selena Gomez. In one episode, Mabel (Selena) said her favorite cocktail was a Mezcal Old Fashioned. True to her mixologist proclivities, Mari Jo bought some good quality Mezcal to try this. Holy smokes folks, put the brandy and bourbon away and get some Mezcal! It takes an Old Fashioned to another level where the rarified air is.

I used my cocktail smoker to add some cherry wood smoke to the drinks. Fun!

The smoking vessel gets capped so the smoke comes out through the holes below into the cocktail.

Traditionally, my 1st Gin and Tonic of the season is when I'm watching the golf tourny in Augusta on tv.

I forget what I made her but the one in front was a delicious Industry Sour from the weekend.

                Industry Sour

                1 oz Fernet Branca
                1 oz Green Chartreuse
                1 oz lime juice
                1 oz simple syrup

The garnish suggests a mint julep? Both look mighty tasty!

SheilaAnn It was a variation of a mint julep but I've forgotten the name. I know it had apricot liqueur in it.
