Holy snifters, Batman! How was it? I likes me grand marnier now and then. I warm the snifter with a lighter. Weird, I know, old bar trick l learned a while back.

It was VERY smooth. I’ve been fortunate to have it before. But at nearly $150 a bottle it’s not something one drinks every week (or month or year)

That would be fun to do a cross tasting with the original GM. In just a little over 3 years, their 200 year anniversary will be here and it will be interesting to see if they do a Cuvee Du Bicentenaire.

Turkey coma with Buffalo Trace straight up chaser. Hope your Turkey Day was great!

Unfortunately I have no pictures of today's pours. The Thanksgiving selection was Angels Envy Bourbon, Michters American Whiskey and Woodford Reserve Double Oak. All of which were excellent, Angel's Envy was the most poured throughout the day.

Yum! Love all of them! Have you tried the Angel’s Envy Rye? I haven’t but would like - and this reminded me.

Started with Irish cream in my coffee, took grandkids to Black Friday at Target and afterwards a hot Aspen spice mix in apple cider with a shot of bourbon as we decorate the Christmas tree.

Fireplace roaring, snow falling all day today and tomorrow. Plow is on standby waiting to get cleaned off and I've got a Perfect Crown Royal Manhattan on the rocks. A beautiful Sword Fish steak is waiting to get seared. This is what life is all about. Oh, waiting for the Penn State game. It doesn't get any better, winter in the Rockies.

This is not a 375mls, I think it is just depth perception.

Oh I know - i was just saying I found the 375ml. I haven’t seen this bottle out since I picked up one up earlier this year.

barelfly I’ll have to look for them as well.

I just poured a rye 101 WT, and after this last pour, it should go the opposite direction, Gets me more excited for the Rye.

I was inspired by ecowper 's festive drink in SUWYC so put together a couple of Cosmos.

Very cool! And I love that glass, and very cool touch with the lemon rind.

                    YES!!!!!!!!!!

Espresso Martini. Went to a great restaurant in Manhattan and my wife fell in love w this drink. Made me go get a tutorial from the bartender. Finally found their fancy ingredients in NJ so I gave it a shot. Really delicious.

Richard Chrz I fully expected you to say “I’ll have to MAKE some coffee liqueur.”
