Merry Christmas!! Trying something new. The jury’s still out given its price tag. Bourbon, for me nowadays, is ALWAYS relative.

the bottle is now empty. I am sad. They went out of business. I may treat myself for my birthday and grab the last bottle there is from work at full price.

Yesterday night

A little story on this last bottle. For the past two years my sister-in-law and her boyfriend have brought me a bottle of this because we host Christmas Eve. And for two years they open it and help to drink about 2/3 of the bottle. This year they bring a signed bottle, and she tells me to put it away and don't drink it because it may be valuable. I can't win.

The brewery nearby my wife and I visit every few weeks has a an IPA called Pink Elephants on Parade -

And Nocturnum was one of my top fav beers back when I drank beer. Dang that was a good beer! Enjoy that!!!

very smooth, a lighter cab but still had a nice cab like coating. I also enjoyed the fruit notes that came through.

I’ll ask my wife for a better tasting note description…she’s better at that.
