Koenig Pilsner. Cold and delicious. In Hamburg at some “small” concert. The German know how to do it.

This is such a good bottle! And from what I’ve read, the 10yr and barrel strength (if you can find) are even better!

A standard for me, especially on a fRYEday!!!!!!! Old Fashioned, with the juice being Old Forester Rye enjoying the patio before I get to cooking some Mall Teriyaki Chicken on the griddle

This is The Last Word a prohibition era cocktail of equal parts Gin, Chartreuse, Luxardo and lime juice. Easily my favorite “fancy” cocktail! If you can find a bottle of Chartreuse, buy it! A couple of these will make you VERY happy 😜

Attjack I had to look that up. Yes I made something similar the other day- Frenet Sour. Basically everything but the egg white and saline. It was really good but I love egg white cocktails so I’ll definitely be going back and making this. 👍👍

I actually usually make it just like you made the Fernet Sour. A lot of times you'll see this recipe called Industry Sour. When I get home from my trip I'll have to make them side by side and compare.

                1 oz Fernet Branca
                1 oz Green Chartreuse
                1 oz lime juice
                1 oz simple syrup

Attjack it’s remarkable how these two strong drinks are so balanced when combined.

              Cheers!

SheilaAnn - Bennigan’s was my go to spot….probably went 2-3 times a week…friends with all the servers and the few favorites for food were the pretzel sandwich, chicken strips and that dang Monte Cristo!

barelfly the monte cristo! Forgot about that sandwich. My jams were the broccoli bites! I had since moved on, and worked at another Mexican restaurant across the street from a “banana-gins”. After our shifts we would go for beers and play Galaga until the bar closed!

Boy, haven’t been to a Bennigan’s since the 90’s. Used to love TGI Friday’s potato skins, those were great!

It's been some time between pours of Parker's. A bourbon with a little noise to it.
