          barelfly I’m extremely pleased with how well the Bambino Plus makes espresso compared to my former machine. It’s all I need since I drink one cup a day, maybe two if I’m in the mood.

          I have the same one. I’ve dialed it in and think I make a cappuccino that can compete with any boutique coffee shop! do I go a little overboard and weigh my beans and ensure the single dose grind is exact and then weigh the output and make sure its within about 30 seconds or so….. why yes I do! I know this machine is automatic, but….I like to manually make my espresso and froth my milk I’d recommend the Bambino Plus to anyone!

            So I finally poured it. That is soooooo good! My friend who cam over to have a pour and a pizza really enjoyed it as well,we did them side by side with the SBBP as well, the rye really shines over it,

            He brought me a bottle of Blanton’ s and a bottle of scotch to have here, as a Christmas gift, all I offered him was cranberry walnut bread and a pizza.

            Made two OFs with Wild Turkey 101 Rye…my son…thought it was time he learned to enjoy one of these great cocktails and make sure he knows a good OF to a bad OF!

              Scored a bottle of Bulleit at the office gift exchange potluck, so I made whiskey sours. Used maple syrup instead of simple syrup. Turned out pretty good.

                    Here’s my new to me way of making an Old Fashioned - froze mandarin slices in the ice blocks. When I dropped the cherry in, I realized I should have froze the cherry as well. But just a fancy way of serving, saw something similar on Instagram and thought it was pretty cool! Next go, I’m just going to do the peel by doing better cuts so there isn’t pith showing. I may express the water with a rind as well prior to putting in the freezer. It’s a cool idea, I just need to work on the deliver a bit better than what I show here - that dang pith showing drives me nuts!

                    Early Christmas present. it’s rather interesting. I tried a sip or two neat. Then added some ice. It was better over ice. Then made this cocktail. Groundbreaking? No. Would this work in a white sangria? Hells yeah!

                      I finished my Christmas shopping today so what would a guy do to celebrate? Stop by a local brewery/taproom for a couple celebratory brews. Brought home a few of my favorites to enjoy.

                          barelfly it is 130proof but not hateful hot. I love Bookers but can no longer afford it. This is as good as if not a viable replacement.
