How do you like that Dickel Leopold Bros collaboration? I bought one a year, or two, ago and just finished it. I won't be replacing it. I really like most Dickel whiskey, but I think the collaboration with Leopold is just okay....and a little pricey too boot. Dad's Hat Pre-Prohibition style rye scratches a similar itch, and is much more reasonably priced. IMHO, of course..

I of course love smoked meats of all kinds, but also like quick cooks like chicken portions, pork tenderloins, steak and fish. Really into cooking of all kinds.
My outdoor kitchen has a Lone Star Grillz Adjustable and it is wonderful. There also is a Pit Boss 5 Burner Ultimate Griddle and a Pit Boss Copperhead pellet grill.
There is an outdoor fire pit that has grilling capability and limited Santa Maria-style grill raising and lowering.

Kamado Joe Jr with Kick Ash Basket
Char-Broil Smartchef Tru Infrared Gasser
Anovo Hot Tub Time Machine with Custom Hot Tub
A little red to go with ample amounts of Stilton cheese. The lighting makes my crystal look dirty, but it’s a clean glass. 🤓
dark fruit, a smidge of leather, light-to-medium tannins. Once there was a bite of bleu cheese, the wine got really bright and a bit more tannic. Being a central CA wine, the minerality was subtle, but it was there. Yum! I still have a 2018 holding….

You sound like me! I have some xxxx laying down…they should be great around xxxx. LOL
My GF and I belong to several wine “clubs.” She used to roll her eyes when we were tasting and I’d say something like, “This is good, but it could be amazing in x-xx years.” (Or even months in some cases.) And then the staff member, or even the winemaker, would say, “Oh yeah…if you could lay these down for another year or two…it will be amazing.” LOL
Just because it’s bottled doesn’t mean it’s ready. ;-)

JCBBQ yes, Ancho Reyes Verde
Shaker full of ice
2oz tequila of your choice
1oz Ancho Reyes Verde
1oz Lime juice
.5 oz agave syrup
.5-1oz water
Shake that shaker like a Polaroid picture until nice and cold, strain over ice in margarita glass
A variation - rather than Ancho Reyes, I’ll do 2.5oz tequila with a few shakes of Hella Chili Bitters. Another great margarita!
