Attjack - last year, I bought a 375ml bottle and carried it around in a paper bag…thought I’d class it up a bit this year

I had a relative that kept his medicine in a pint bottle wrapped in a paper bag in his barn. He needed his cough syrup several times a day.

I have several of these style of flasks. They're good for when you don't have to be sneaky about it.

that circular flask is pretty cool!

I’ve completed the exterior paint job for the lake house. Was a few trips, 3 days total. Not bad for a hack like me! So, now…a pre-party beverage before we head out to the luminaria tour tonight.

Smoked McFarlane's Reserve Kentucky Bourbon, neat (what's left of it in my glass):

Definitely smokey, smooth, and delicious. I'm not a bourbon guy (I keep some cheap stuff around for cooking), but this is one I could definitely see myself enjoying on the rocks.

      Here's how I smoked it:

Seasons change, as do our seasonal "Show Us What You're Cooking!" topics. So with the arrival of fall (autumn) here is a brand new SUWYC, Volume 31! (Link to the expired Vol 30, Summer 2023: https://pitmaster.amazingribs.com/forum/food-recipes-techniques-show-us-what-youre-cooking/show-tell/1440761-show-us-what-you

I definitely recommend giving it a try, just for fun if nothing else.

Try that as an old fashioned! I bet that smoke flavor would be great!

Was a bit windy, so no luminarias but still had a fun time visiting each site and warming up by the bon fires!

          Salute.

Our friends brought us back this cream liqueur from Iceland and my wife bought a nice single malt Irish whiskey to make this coffee drink.

ID:	1519045 Super Classy! Goldfish & Martini!! My Dutch BIL brought me this “barrel aged” gin. Not bad. Better as a dirty martini.

With the chimichurri and flank I made tonight, thought a small pour of this wonderful bottle of Fortaleza Reposado would pair well. It’s a wonderfully smooth and flavorful tequilla!

Attjack - I’ve seen it only once. I have found a YouTuber that is all tequila. I’ll find him and send your way, he provides a nice listing of tequilas to try.

This guy is pretty informative on tequila. I’ve watched a few of his videos and enjoyed them. And he runs a bar and Brazilian BBQ!!!!
