Coffee. Lots of coffee. I got up at 4:30 to get the holiday brisket going. That’s 2 1/2 hours earlier than average. S**t I’m tired. This was my son’s idea. It better be good………

This year I started holding in the oven for 12 hrs. Lots of videos on YouTube and apparently that’s what restaurants do 🤷‍♂️. It allows me to cook the day before AND get a good night sleep.

I haven't poured OGD Bonded in a while. Just as I remember, very good, underrated.

Elton When I took Situational Leadership they showed and analyzed the movie “12 O'clock High”.

Great Lakes Brewing Company Eliot Ness amber lager. Smooth malt flavor with just the right amount of bitterness for me. 😎

I’m sipping on a little Jim Beam Black. I like it neat. Drowning my sorrows after the Brewers got swept by the Phillies this afternoon. They scored just two runs over the three game series. But our pitching was pretty good too. The Phillies didn’t score all that much more. Oh well. Cheers!!

I'm having a G&T in my Buc-ee's red cup waiting for the coals to get ready for a steak over the Vortec on my Weber Kettle. I am using the EasySpin grate tonight.

Some days it seems like it’s my second home. I’m leaving on Sunday…but I’ve been here since the previous Sunday.

Some times I’m here for a day or two, and other for a week or two. And I almost never know until I get here. LOL

              Mmmmmmmmmmm Hamm!

It's been many years since I've tried this, and this is their "Remastered" version. It's okay. It's a little lighter. I think I like the original better.

Oh yeah, Founder’s Breakfast is a tasty one.

Trying out a new-to-me pale ale made by D.C. brewery Right & Proper. Very tasty, well balanced with bitterness suitable to a 5.0 ABV beer and a LOT of hops in the finish, plus it's dry-hopped for excellent hop nose as well. Tastes more full than I would expect in a 5% brew. Thumbs up!
