Stuck in yet another hotel room…but at least I have my golf sim with me so life is good. LOL

People sometimes laugh at my “load out” until they realize how long I might be away from home…and I need to make it tolerable.

Anyway, here’s what’s on until I can figure out where to go in this gringo town. ROFL I hope that’s ok to say… You know that you’re in white bread country when enchiladas come with “gravy.” No, fortunately not actual gravy…but whatever it is that they put on enchiladas and their miniature burritos…they call gravy. But I digress, until I hear from an occasional colleague…this is what’s on the menu. Fortunately, it doesn’t really taste like Cuervo. Whew! ;-)

SheilaAnn I was in Waco that day…tired & cranky. LOL
I did manage to find a decent place just a quick uber ride from my hotel.

Ancho Verde Margaritas to start, then a nightcap of on of my favorites…

When I planned my backyard chores, I didn't know it would be 95 degrees. Oh well, just stay cool.

Orange cream soda for breakfast. I still have a lot of OJ I squeezed in January. I carbonated some. A couple ounces of heavy whipping cream in a glass of orange soda.

No idea. I bought a 12 pack I think Saturday. So whatever my liquor store has is what I pull from the cooler. It's my goto for IPA. And at 7.2 ABV, 2 of them and I'm doing a happy dance. Something you don't want to witness.

Today, eh…for now…it’s a mojito for her and a daiquiri for me. Not one of those foo-foo dreck things…a proper Hemmingway loving daiquiri.

I’ve said it before…. I love those martini glasses!

Oh yeah…this was from the other day, after my son’s graduation. This a Gulden Draak. Another fave…it’s 10.5% ABV, so unless one is used to that sort of thing…it can put you on your arse. LOL So clearly not a Guinness…my favourite lite beer incidentally. ;-)

Finished up at home with an Alesmith Speedway Stout. This one come in at a whopping 12%…so I suggest sitting down to enjoy these. Love a beer that looks like used motor oil. LOL

In my beer drinking days…Gulden Draak, Nocturnun, Chimay Blue…all my favorite beers to drink! I even saw these today when I made a run to the store for some booze for the weekend!

                    Such a good pour!
