A (double) Full Monty - which is 50/50. Skinsfan1311 I made a manhattan w Montenegro (2 to 1) right before (no pics) and I can’t decide which I like better. Guess I’ll have to keep trying …

          Nice!
I'm assuming that you mean 2 parts whiskey to 1 part Montenegro..that's the perfect proportion and makes for a fantastic drink

        A Green Hornet.

I’m dedicating this to the original “Round Mound of Sound” - Al Hirt. I can’t hear the words Green Hornet w/o thinking of his INCREDIBLE theme song to the tv show…starring Bruce Lee! This is battle between some heavy hitters but the rye and Demerara sort it out. So much going on. I really like this one. Attjack you're my Chartreuse Whisperer…give this a try.

Skinsfan1311 Yep! However after two high octane bourbons ( 126 proof) and some wine I was too shiffaazed to get pics of the finished product. 🤪

Visiting our daughter for the weekend in Durango, CO - found a cool speak easy to kick off the weekend, Old Fashions for the wife and I while daughter went with a Hemingway. Cheers to the weekend!!

JCBBQ - I don’t think anything, the Speak Easy had a name for all of the cocktails on the menu.

Stacy got me a bottle of The Macallan 15 years old double cask ….. just cracked it open tonight for my first dram. It’s not even been open 30 minutes and it is really, really good.

That’s great stuff but there seems to be design flaw with their bottle…it doesn’t last nearly as long as I think it should. Clearly it leaks.

Not an old fashioned, but sippin on some knob 100 proof myself right now.

I am not drinking this now…. But I did taste these two last night (at the aforementioned celebration of life). The Pappy was mighty fine! It was a gift from the departed to our host when we opened store #53 in 2011. We finished it off last night.

The lady in back? My former boss’ wife. She is awesome!

I’ve quite literally have been awake since yesterday morning. O_o
A project that I thought would be finished early yesterday evening…didn’t get done until about 4:30 this morning. No sense in sleeping then…it would just wreck my sleep tonight. So, fours hours to home and here I am. I think I’m going to sleep rather well tonight. LOL

Found this in the the fridge. :-) A bit lighter than I usually drink…but still tasty.

This was from Monday night and I had a terrible connection…
It’s a bourbon barrel aged stout. Quite tasty but not for the timid. Besides the wallop of flavour…it also sits at 15.4%. O_o

For the record, that’s B-Bomb Winter Ale from Fremont Brewing. Formally known as Bourbon Abominable…but to Fremonters it was the B-Bomb…and the name stuck.

We called Newcastle “Newkie Brown” at one of the bars I used to work at. Haven’t had one of those in a long time!

SheilaAnn I hadn’t either, so grabbed a sixer at the market before I went out of town again. Had a couple and then was off…and forgot I even had them. A nice little surprise after a ridiculously long day.

A little pre party before we head out for dinner. Hoping the bourbon or rye menu is good tonight.

          this is still so good.
