OK barelfly I got a sipper and a half for you. Dumb name - Chocolate Covered Black Banana Nocino Manhattan 🙄 However, this friggin drink is perfectly balanced. I can literally taste each component and nothing overwhelms anything else. The difficulty is going to be sourcing Nocino (NOT Nocello! That $**t’s gross). Recipe in one of the pics.

Skinsfan1311 I hear ya. I got a cupboard full of various bottles now. Definitely some will hardly get used but I guess I got tired of just slugging down bourbon (way too much) and made a conscious decision to explore cocktails this year. I’m hoping that by focusing on a breadth of experiences I’ll drink less than focusing on the depths of a bourbon bottle. Jury still out…but I’m enjoying the ride.

JCBBQ Much appreciated! I've always used it as a digestivo after a meal, (we "discovered" it many moons ago when we lived in Naples, Italy) and that's how the Neapolitans drink it. I've substituted it for vermouth in Manhattan's & there's one I like called "The Busted Pipe" which is basically equal parts bourbon & Montenegro with twist of lemon...

Monkeypod Mai Tai’s at The Beach House for the family as we kick off our vacation!

surfdog yup that’s what the guy used w NO2 (whipped cream) cartridges in the video I saw. Guy said you can also use an immersion blender.

surfdog - that’s what they use at The Beach House - looks exactly like that! But man that’s pricey! Haha. I’ll have to try the immersion blender process JCBBQ mentions. See if I can find that video.

    Cheers!

I don’t know ingredients but there’s a few differences, and maybe it’s because of the ease of making them at the restaurant? But here’s the menu for The Beach House, which is tied to MonkeyPod Kitchen

The curaçao is different, maybe try both side by side!!!!

barelfly you should ask them how they make their foam. Ingredients etc.

I'm not drinking this, but my buddy bought it. How cool that they got the fill level 100% right...

          Oh behave!!!

Definitely not my Old Fashion cocktail, but….it’s serviceable! And my daughter found this bottle of red at the grocery store, so…thought it was perfect!

        cheers my friends!

Hahaha that red! Is that a Costco premixed bottle of old fashioneds?

JCBBQ - yep! Costco at its best…or trying to be. Not the greatest mixer OF, but it works!

And now a mix Mai Tai! This is serviceable as well! Although, the mix of dark and light rums would make this even better! But the man child digs it as he celebrates his Knicks winning the championship. He chose the Knicks on his own…he was forced to be a fan of the Mets and Cowboys…so happy he gets to see a championship! I hope we get to see a Mets and Cowboys championship together sometime soon!!!!!

ID:	1859230 Here are two great hot weather drinks if you’re opening up some Cava or something similar. Hugo Spritz - my daughter’s new obsession, and my French 75. I’ve never had this before and I’ve gotta say I love it. I’m not a huge bubbly person but, as you can tell from the above, I don’t mind a drop of gin. This is a great drink.

There is a restaurant that my brother and SIL go to often. And I go when we are in town. Imagine a French 75 as a slushy. Cancel Christmas!! It’s da bomb!!!
