It’s November 1st - Dia de Muertos - so we’re watching Coco with our boys and I’m drinking a Stetsons and Sombreros Mexican lager from local (Temecula, CA) brewery, Ironfire.

My dealer, aka the guy who owns the liquor store two blocks from my house, made another recommendation. Apparently "American Single Malt" is the new craze. Anyway, pretty good. Mid $40s price, so not bad. Definitely reminds me of scotch. Little peaty and smoky. Not sweet. I like it.

Made of 100% malted barley, our single malt whiskey offers an experience that is uniquely American. It’s great sipped neat or in your favorite cocktail. Cheers.

          Your thoughts - you like?
My brother in law spent a sizeable chunk on some WP18, and frankly.... We didn't care for it. The WP10 was smoother and tasted better.

Not right now, specifically - but a recent pick-me-up for a long afternoon.

BF picked this up. He likes it. I tried, but still not my jams. It finishes rather sweet, IMHO. I have a glass of dry rose.

It is very nice - a little less bitter, so I end up using a bit more than if it was Campari.

The Colonel and I are visiting after a successful opening weekend of Pheasant and Quail Season in Kansas since the dogs are tired and don't want to chat anymore.
