It’s Uber simple. Peeling the lemons correctly is the biggest headache. After that, it’s just booze, time, sugar and water.

      Nice cold glass of water

Mine has lemon in it. My urologist says that's how to keep from having more kidney stones making my life interesting.

Bogy , same problem here with the stones and similar solution to what I do. It is the citrate in the lemon that helps.

HotSun yep, doctor said it has to be lemon. Cranberry is for UTIs, lime won't do it, it has to be lemon. So I'm drinking lemon in my water.

So, the tobacco is Burley but it’s not flavored, or am I too long out of the tobacco lingo loop?

WayneT I’m a newbie, but I believe non flavored. Seemed to be the reason to avoid a "flavored" tobacco in seasoning the wood. I’ve read since, pipes should be seasoned to various style tobacco’s. At least to the financial side, lol

Discerning and discriminating tastes, yep, that’s me……Please note fine, upscale glass ware.

Drinking Talma Sauvignon Blanc, from Spain. My favorite budget SB, refreshing on a hot night and it has a pretty label. $7.99 at Total Wine, but I always use a coupon and buy it a case at time. Easy equal to other SV's twice as expensive.

Note my new Rapala filet knife in the foreground; used it to carve up spareribs for smoking tomorrow. Life is good.

MsTwiggy, this was a Meathead recommendation. I have been looking for a decent filet knife for years, so I just took a change. I really like it, but have one reservation. There is a gap where the tang goes into the handle, which I see as a potential food safety issue. Anyhow, I've used it to carve up spareribs and fruit. It is lightweight, very flexible. It does the trick. Hope this helps!

SheilaAnn, got my coupon today, too! Talma tends to run out of stock, so I keep a case in reserve.

SheilaAnn, I'm glad you're enjoying it. I like to look for a balance of quality and value in my wines, and will continue sharing here.

MsTwiggy you give me way too much credit. The glassware was on clearance at World Market back when I lived in Phoenix

I love world market, i spent a lot of time in baja as a kid and this glassware was everywhere. Probably still is.

My father in law makes his own wine using his dad’s old wine press and grape crusher. We all help crush the grapes in the fall and then he does the rest. I don’t know what kind of red we made this year but it’s damn good.
