I’m not sure if this is an elevated cappuccino due to the mug or an elevated mug due to the cappuccino. Regardless, it represents two great memories, one in Italy and another much closer to home and more recent.

Shiner Bock is a TX beer? I could have sworn it was Coors Light.

WayneT All Shiner beer is brewed in Shiner Texas. I’m pretty sure I had my first one as a teenager in the 70’s.

Wow, what a challenging thesis, making sense of internet effects. Congrats to your daughter. With intelligence like that, she definitely didn't fall too far from the old tree, so congrats to you and her Mom too!

Back in the mid 1980's when I lived in Reading PA, a number of men and women had that with a cheeseburger for lunch at Johnny's Hideaway. They drank Genesee beer, not Bud. I wish I liked tomato juice/ V8.

Relaxing with a Gin and Tonic with a brisket on the Bronco and getting ready for a late lunch of wings on the Weber and Vortex. Listening to Jimmy Buffett.

After reading all the plaudits about Modelo grabbed me some.
This is Especial, only sample available up here, very hoppy reminds me of a Red Stripe.
Beats the hell out of a Corona IMHO.

I agree with your expert assessment. Modelo over Corona any day. I really love a good amber.

When I drank beer, This was my beer of choice for the lake! And yes…so much better than corona!

The Negra Modelo is really good too. Even with a lime!

I snapped this picture yesterday at lunch (I had Quesabirria) and only now found the time to post it. One of the greats, Pliny the Elder.

It seems to be an industry buzz thing. Maybe because I have been in the biz for so long and know brewers, I hear about it more.

SheilaAnn That makes sense. I do see tap houses around here posting on social media when they have it on tap. To me a double or triple IPA is usually something you know you're drinking. But with Pliny, I think it tastes more like a regular well balanced IPA. I think that's why it popular. What would you recommend as a superior choice?
