Our friend Waster dared me to smoke one so I’ll do that while doing the ham for tonight. Ham on one kettle, Green been casserole on another and now a couple of old fashioned on a third.

CHNeal thanks! Looks like I need to up my cocktail game! I was using angastora bitters and a sugar cube. Now I’ll have to order those orange bitters and maraschino cherries. Sounds wonderful!

CHNeal - So the verdict? Smoked or un-smoked Old Fashioned better?

We have a set of Waterford cocktail glasses that we were gifted to celebrate the birth of our first son all those years ago.
They have become our special occasion glasses and Christmas Eve is such an occasion.
Old Fashioned in 30? year old crystal glass.

Caribbean Reserve? Does that name carry any special significance? I’m ignorant about scotch.

Aaahhh yes a late morning snack!
