      That’s always a fine choice.

Getting these Mai Tai’s figured out as well as I can. I think this third try is pretty close…if you are ok with my using whip cream and passion fruit pure syrup as my foam! It’s actually so darn close to the MonkeyPod Mai Tai, so for what I am looking for it is outstanding!

I'm not a fan of finished whiskey, but a huge fan of Bowman. I like the John J. Bowman so much that we have a decanter just for it. I can highly recommend the John J. if you can get your hands on a bottle....

I don’t know if I’ve seen Isaac bowman here in NM. I do like Port finished bourbons thought, so I’ll keep an eye out! Thanks for sending and enjoy that sipper!

Cheers AR from Gran Canary Island, Spain..

Something new. Been on a martini kick for a good month. Decided to make use of the rediculous variety of bottles I’ve amassed this year. This is incredibly well balanced and the mezcal rinse hits the nose and gives it a savory note. But Averna (if you haven’t had it tastes a bit like coke) makes this a better end of the evening drink for me bc it’s a little bit sweet.

        -Gin for Hire-

The brands I used are different than the recipe picture and also I doubled the recipe…bc why bother w a 2.5oz drink.🙄🙄

Also, Cotswolds Gin is fabulous. Only just started selling in USA. Grab it if you see it. Amazing in G&T and Martini.

“Why bother with a 2.5 oz drink…?” Indeed.
I figure that’s why they make 3oz shot glasses.

        Salud!

The Huskee version of a Negroni; no vermouth. I hate vermouth and (to me) it doesn't add anything productive but instead negates anything it's added to.

So my Negroni is 50/50 good gin and Campari, that's it. Chilled or shaken with ice, no ice in glass. Or large ice ball if you must. My wife wanted the ice ball here.

JCBBQ - dirty margatini is what I should have said. But, a margarita with olive juice and olives. Applebees use to make these, called them Perfect Margarita. I like dirty margatini

Well, I stopped by Total Wine and they "allowed" me to buy 1 bottle, so I did.

            Your yard looks great

While at dinner last week, my wife ordered a margarita. I always ask, how is it compared to what I make. This was the first margarita that beat my recipe. So…I asked, what’s the recipe and the bartender was happy to share. This was the secret ingredient. Honestly, I could sip this over ice but it’s a great addition to a margarita with the orange flavor it provides. The sweetness really balances out the drink!

ID:	1871360 I used to live on the corner of Gov Nicholls and Decatur in the French Quarter. This drink is a Vieux Carre (what the Quarter used to be called). Essentially a New Orleans Manhattan. One of the Big Three quintessential N’Awlins cocktails- the others being Sazerac and Ramos Fizz. Haven’t had one in years. Tastes pretty good.

Feeling lazy this am (thus the bottle of OJ) as contemplate cooking up some wings later. Trying to decide what direction I want to go…which will all be for naught when the rest chime in with their wants. LOL Click image for larger version
