Alka Seltzer...wife & I are a little under the weather. It's orange flavor but I can't tell, just tastes salty and doesn't appear to work. I'm out of beer and neither water whiskey nor wine sound good (I know, serious business) so it's Plop plop fizz fizz I'll drink 'em all cuz that's all there is.

Last night was the last evening with my cousin. I brought out several bottles that had maybe an inch left in each and we bottle killed them. Then we opened a fifth of The Dalmore. Plus several cigars over the course of the afternoon and evening.

Bottle kills included - Bushmills 21, Laophroaig Cairdeas, The Glendronach Revival, Bunnahabhain 18

Tonight it's one of the greats. Being a huge Buffalo Trace fan I am of course a big fan of Stagg Jr, if I can find it, but I gotta say this Barrel Proof Elijah Craig edges it out. Wonderful stuff. If you like barrel proof bourbons this doesn't disappoint, in fact it is one for the books.
