Nothing. Well nothing with alcohol anyway. Had a health issue a month ago that required blood tests. Aside from what they were actually looking for, the routine panel showed my liver was freaking out. Yes there’s a formal and technical name for it but in the end, I just need to quit drinking. Forever. A BIG change for me. Oh I have taken sabbaticals off and on over the years. But now, it’s got to be zip, nada, zero. It’s going to be hard. Exactly four weeks so far without a drop. And a follow up test a few days ago shows the numbers in question are already improving. Longggg way to go before I can claim success. Wish me luck my friends. 🤞🤞🤞🤞
P.S. One other upside is I’ve lost 18 pounds in those four weeks. Long way to go on that issue too. 🤷â€â™‚ï¸
I like their Cherry Coke Zero (what they call the zero sugar here anyway), but regardless of sugar or no sugar, you just can't beat the taste of Coke from a glass bottle!

Sipping on some quality wine from Napa Valley. Huskee is this something you’ve tried? This is a BIG hit in my house. Goes very well with what I call the holy trinity: meat, salt and wine 😄
My wife has tried their Chardonnay and she raved, she said it was of the best she's tasted. Her previous favorite was Raumbauer, which is about $40+/- whereas this was ~$25 I want to say, so it wins. We found it in Kentucky but can't find it in Michigan. Enjoy!
Scotch: Current favorite- The Arran (anything by them), Glenmorangie 12yr Lasanta, sherry cask finished. The Balvenie Double Wood, also like Oban 18yr, and The Glenlivet Nadurra (Oloroso sherry cask finished) among others. Neat please.

This is hands down my favorite affordable zinfandel. The 2018 was a slight touch better to me, but this 2019 is still wonderful. Great BBQ wine. Sipping on some now... the rest of the bottle will be with some Prime ribeyes tonight.
WayneT I Googled it to see the label and I gotta say no, it doens't look familiar. I will watch for it though and I will revisit this if I'm able to find it.
