Yea in a 12 pack. I've notice more beer available in cans. Don't know if it is due to supply chain issues.

Don't get me started on how much better cans are than bottles😁😁

Might be supply chain with bottles, but a lot of craft guys going to cans because better for the beer, and lower freight costs for the package. I'm glad to see it, personally.

Cans rule! They got a bad rap in the past, but they have redeemed themselves. They’re great for craft beer - keeping all the light out helps keep the beer fresh. It’s not for laying down for years (can let some oxygen in), but it’s absolutely perfect for most craft beers.

The lighter weight definitely makes a difference in the bottom line for shipping, and they’re pool friendly. A win win!!!

My desert island beer, Port City's Essential pale ale. Their brewery is about four miles from my house, and they deliver for a flat 5 bucks - and it's drinkably cold when it arrives. They cover all the core styles, with superb examples of each. You cannot beat that.

(My lovely bride is making us pizza tonight, fixins in the background...)

Having a good local brewery is a gift from God!

We are blessed to have more than a dozen breweries in our valley, and one of my favorites is a 1/2 mile from our house!

Fancy-ass, yes! Hipster...ehhh....😁😁 I've been reliably informed that I suck at being hip.

Start it with espresso. Finish it with scotch...

        One of my favorites!

Several years ago I made a deal with my wife to skip all the BS traditional Father’s Day gifts and just get me a nice bottle of Scotch every year.

Well, my stock is currently pretty solid on Scotch, so this year she got me a bottle of Rare Breed.

        It’s the second time I’ve had a bottle…and it’s glorious!!!

That's an excellent rye, and it makes the best Old Fashioned I've ever had.

Visiting family in Maryland and enjoying an imperial porter from my favorite local brewery there.

It’s been YEARS (read: decade+) since I’ve had a Gonzo! Delicious, as I recall.

Well, it’s not quite right now …. This is what I have on the counter waiting for Thanksgiving …. 10 bottles of wine, 3 fifths of whiskey from Woodinville Whiskey …. Think it’s enough?

Whiskeyman53 That blended double barrel is awesome for cocktails .. Manhattans especially. The cask strength rye is one of my go to whiskeys …. Fantastic neat with some water back or in an old fashioned.

Whiskeyman53 unfortunately you can’t get the double barrel or cask strength rye outside Washington state. Almost impossible to get them anywhere but the distillery. However, I believe you can get WW rye outside WA and, if you can, you should get some. It’s my whiskey go to.

I really do like a good lambic. I like so many different kinds of beers, but it's become overwhelming keeping track of everything. Lots of my friends are beer nerds, so I get to taste a lot of interesting stuff by association.

And, not going to lie, when someone who knows what they are talking about calls me "chef" casually, I get really really proud. I can't get enough of when I hear "you got it, chef." or the like from cboss while making dinner at home

After what you pulled off this past weekend, you should be called Chef! I have several beer nerd friends, too. So I feel ya on that! And where I live you can drive a mile in any direction and seem to hit a brewery.

Did a blind taste test last night, 3 versions of Four Roses (Small Batch, Small Batch Select, and Single Barrel) and Wild Turkey 101. I picked 101 as my fave in the lineup. Interestingly, my buddy who's a die hard Wild Turkey fan picked it as his 2nd favorite.

It’s not Thanksgiving until the Celebration arrives. Today marks the first day of a beautiful season of this annual fresh hop IPA!
