I’m going down the Abby or Trappist styles tonight, although, bourbon would be good as well.

I had that quadruple a few weeks ago. It is pretty good! Have you had any of the other beers from that brewer?

STEbbq. my wife drinks this one a lot. This is my first time enjoying it, my home brew path will go down this path. I’m so tired of the beer on shelves everywhere. It’s all fancy colored labels, and the same flavor.

If I made my own beer, I would be brewing up some 10-15% stouts all day.

Sitting on the porch in a little rain and had a raccoon try to get in out of the rain and try to join me. I tried to take a pic but I scared him away. I think he wanted some of my WhistlePig.

SheilaAnn Also Known As an Alibi, Sister...

Can also be blamed on server or connectivity issues, or even Sunspots, Lunar Activity, Satellite Issues, Solar Flares, an perhaps 4-5 paragraphs of other examples...

The very much necessitated brief nature of this missive most certainly precludes me expounding at any length, and I'd certainly have my doubts, as to anybody even being interested...

How is their bourbon? I love their rye, it's a top-tier rye for sure. Their name suits them well IMO.

Was looking for a petite Syrah but gave up after going through 20-odd bottles and wanting to get it open while I was still cooking. LOL (First world problems.)

SheilaAnn I’d say fairly fruit forward with a nice, rich balance of plum & berries. Being a 2015, the tannins were very well controlled. It also helps that I decanted it first. I’m not big into super tannic wines…and have no problem laying down bottles for a few years for them to mellow. That astringency isn’t something I typically enjoy. But, if a young wine shows potential…I’ll pick some up and put ‘em in the wine rack, with a "Do not open before…" label. LOL
