After working outside in my yard most of the past 3 days, gave myself a little break after 2pm today and went in the pool, then the hot tub, then back and forth for a couple hours before dinner. Wanted to drink something cold, a little sweet, and cold. Grabbed a patio safe cup and filled it with ice and then this margarita mix with tequila included. Refilled a couple times and drained this previously unopened bottle. Hit he spot.

That actually sounds pretty tasty.
I have a friend that’s all into seltzers... bleh
I don’t have anything against them per se...but they’re just so darned bland. "Yeah, this is vaguely citrus...this one is sorta berry...I guess...if I concentrate hard enough." LOL
Flavours man! Where is the flavour! Reminds me of the dreck yellow light beer my father & brother drink. shudder

surfdog The dreck yellow beer thing is kind of what nudged me in the seltzer direction.
My daughter started buying this stuff and its the old....try this....hey, not bad
Your right there are seltzers out there that you have to really be open minded to find the taste they advertise and others that could turn you into a diabetic..
Even these I augment with lemon and lime slices.
Its an ever changing game and sometimes I'm just looking for something different.

Have a Char-Griller Duo Black Dual-Function Combo Grill
and offset firebox - Made some changes, will be making more
Use iGrill air and meat thermometers
Use cherry, maple, oak (all air dried) scraps from making furniture and stuff.
I have a problem where I like a good beer. That changed with Celiac diagnosis.
now drink cider or beer that I make myself. Both are organic and both are gluten-free and on tap. It is seriously cool. I control the hops, alcohol, bitterness, and taste.
costs more, a bit of work but it is healthier, tastier, and cool.

Sorry about that but it is a game changer. I have spoken with some that get diagnosed and they have a hard time adjusting to it. Some don’t even change what they eat. Eating gluten having celiac gives you 4x the chance of getting stomach cancer among other things including getting sick when you eat them.
a lot of folks in the bbq world use gluten containing ingredients and don’t know or don’t care.
I happen to really enjoy a good bbq, beer and many other foods. Because I like these and I cannot eat out without getting sick, my wife and I have learned to make our own. We make our own rubs, sauces and the like as well.
sorry if I ruffled feathers but i do a lot research and have found many things that should and could be gluten-free but are not. They say that 40-60% of people have it but are not diagnosed correctly.
thanks.

Thanks for sharing your research. It must be tough having to make those changes later in life. My wife, thankfully, found out she has Celiac early on from the due diligence from her mother before it was a known thing in the early 80s. But, even if you're a doctor, and all the more so if you & I aren't, please let's limit this to food and drink and cooking and cookers and leave deep dives into health for the pros on their sites. Thanks!
