Is that just the color of the peppers or did you roast some of them before pickling?

      Awesome

Our goal each year is to be able to pick our first tomatoes by the 4th of July. While I might have waited another day my wife presented me these two today to keep tradition alive.

We have luckily been picking eggplants and peppers before today. We have been having strange weather so far this season.

As much as I would like, I cannot get all the peppers to get ripe at the same time ha ha.

Second choice is slicing them and putting them in these containers with a paper towel on bottom.

This unit is snap ware available on Amazon and I've had to keep peppers in good shape for many weeks. Just information I hope you can use.

Another container of jalapeños, sliced, waiting to get enough to run the water bath canner. Using this container in fridge with paper towel on the bottom worked very well the last time. also putting unripe peppers in a paper bag with a ripe tomato will hasten ripening.. At least on my counter.
