You have been busy - very, very busy.

The birds keep eating the cherries from my tree. Any advice? I've tried wind chimes. no luck.

I have heard you can cut lengths of garden hose, 3 - 4 feet but you do need to move them about every few days.

After a trip to the dollar store. I purchased several aluminum signs to throw in the cherry trees. After several attempts, they landed on some high branches. So far I have wind chimes and aluminum signs. If these fail, I'll just buy cherries fron the store.

Today I threw reflective ribbon in my cherry trees. Amazon states that birds do not like it. Time will tell. I'll update if this plan works.

      Getting close ...

Once again, not a spectacular veggie garden like the others here, but these make me smile. Happy Easter!

          Beautiful

Lance commented today, “you must be this tall to harvest artichokes”.
they are taller than me (I’m 5’9”) and the backdrop is a full size 2-car garage.

Projects are exceeding results! But I persevere. Moved the 3 tier strawberry bed and there’s lots of flowers and unripe berries. Tomatoes planted with about 8 plants to go out. I like my solar string lights, they went up last weekend. Got the fan replaced in the GMG Trek. Next big thing is to get the pool back up!

Is that a porous black cover or plastic? Mighty fine watering system you've got there!

No, normal lawn plastic bag. It does keep weeds from coming up. Double bucket wicking system, draws moisture from reservoir in bottom

Gorgeous amaryllis! I have them in ground here, I buy the spent ones that didn't sell after Christmas and put in the ground. They all tend to bloom in that spring weekend we have every year, then go dormant for the 11 months of summer.

Well, technically I was growning this wonderful bok choy. Harvested today for some yummy stir fry.

I love bok choy -- got a couple of toy-size bok choy plants growing right now. Need to sow some more seeds.

Potatoes are starting to grow .

                Love the new avatar, David!

I really need to do raised beds... this is the last "crop" These deck planters will get... first up is a likely failed attempt at Spanish garlic, the back right one might be viable but not expecting much... we had a nasty bit of random weather.

The other box has a chive plant on its 5th year! It won't die... and 5 random rancho gordo beans... I forget what they were, they came from my mixed bag :P
