    Trying this one out...
It’s decent but probably won’t become a staple.

Aside from the higher proof, how's the flavor vs their standard 9yr?

OMG, I finally tasted the 9YR (100Proof) I bought BF. My tongue went numb! I can only imagine what damage this stuff would do 🤣

Huskee, I get a stronger caramel, peanut, and a cough syrup like flavor in this. And I can add a little water or a cube if I want to dumb down the proof a little. THis seems to be a little more similar to Bookers than to the lower proof 9yr. To me anyway.

Thanks smokin fool , I’ve been working out.

Wife should be home from work any minute now so on the left is a White Wine Spritzer with lemon and lime.
On the right I’m trying a Nutrl Vodka Soda cherry flavoured drink.
          Happy weekend everyone🍺🍷😀

Many MANY years ago I went to a little Mexican restaurant that probably had 12 tables. Maybe.
Anyway, as I am want to do, I ordered a margarita. They brought it to me in a rocks/Old Fashioned glass.

I was puzzled, and apparently looked the part because the server said, "That’s how we make them here..."
"Um...ok. I’m game." It was excellent...and I’ve only had them on the rocks since.

Yup, green apple red apple, had them both ways.
Depending how long it takes to drink a frozen one it soon becomes a liquid anyway.

Some Bookers Pigskin, neat, with a plate of cheeses, Parmesan, bleu cheese, and two types of Gouda, before dinner.

I finally acquired New Holland’s oatmeal Poet brew.

I have now had Dragon’s Milk, Dragon Milk Reserve, the White, and the Solera beers.

The OG is still my favorite but all are excellent in different ways.

A little gin with a cube. The derby was talking to me in the store, so I had to buy it.

                  Four Roses is fantastic

Tom Collins with Tanqueray Rangpur. I prefer lemon in mine. Anyone got a good Tom Collins recipe? I’ve been tinkering with mine.

No unique recipe...I tend to do the "traditional" Collins. If it ain't broke... ;-)
