I drew short straw so I’m pitmaster for steaks tonight. Wind is dying, noseeums coming out, so I’m administering systemic bug repellent....RUM!

My old stand by. Delicious and deadly. Vodka and peach Crystal Lite. If you have tried Pinnacle vodka you should. I pay 12 bucks for a handle. Others have it on their mid shelf for more. A french vodka distilled 5 times. A true bargain! Comes with a supermodel too😀

        Agreed, a great bargain vodka.

Imported for $12, I’ll have to try it!

Yo Mr. Bones they had the Hefewizen but I am not a big fan. I did have a Dunkel which I also liked.

😁😁 Good catch on clarifying that! I like the look of the beer AND the glasses they're served in!

Mudkat and @ Mr.Bones the one shown was a lager. The Dunkel is a darker beer.

I've only had the Paulaner. How were the others?

Thanks Homey. I will be home tomorrow afternoon. Then it will be my turn. There’s two things I look forward to when I get home and that’s firing up a grill/smoker and drinking some bourbon.

EC Small Batch is an incredible (and incredibly priced) bourbon!

The first Gold Medal Winner in the new Black IPA class at the Great American Beer Festival. This classification is all about drinkability. This beer is balanced. It's not overly roasty and has a nice subtle malty sweetness with a hint of molasses. Balanced with hop notes of citrus and pine. Highly quaffable....I kinda dig it!!!

A nice afternoon beer in my new personalized Yeti, a gift from a good friend. Listening to The Killers through my Blackstar portable 2-speaker guitar amp which doubles as computer speakers. Catching up on some work for the Pitmaster Club.

Pirate Scott You nailed it! There was a St Paulie Girl bottle in it after this shot.

I know it’s only Wednesday. But what a Wednesday it’s been. Finally got around to trying The BuffaloTrace and Eagle Rare. I prefer the Buffalo Trace ,but the Eagle Rare is Very Similar. I am not sure you would know the difference if you did a blind taste test.

Even more similar in my opinion is Eagle Rare and Blanton's. You have some of the very best affordable whiskies there, enjoy!
