Green Spot from Irish Whiskey sale at Costco for $41.99 and they also had Redbreast for $39.99. Both 750ML and must buy two. A couple other cheaper options from Jameson - Black & Stout I believe.

BourBonQ It's OK, I wouldn't refuse it if offered but might not buy it again. Has a fruity sweetness early on with a little rye kick but has a slight nutty finish which I'm not a fan of.

HouseHomey A little something different with the port cask finish. A decent peppery alcohol bite but still fairly mellow. Tiny bit of water definitely opens it up a little. Enjoyable enough that I would buy again, but maybe wait for a discount price, think I paid about $50.

Ouch! Sounds about right though. I've seen it at my liquor store at $44. Bucks or so.

        House smoked bourbon.

I'm not a whiskey fan but I love researching it for my wife. For the last couple of years it has been Woodford Reserve Distillers Select in our cabinet.

By the way, My parents lived in Huntington Beach in 1960 the year I was born. I was born at Long Beach Memorial. They bought a new house for 14 thousand dollars 2 blocks from the beach. Don't remember the address but it was on Nassau Lane. They decided that brutally cold Iowa winters were better and moved us back here when I was five. I could have been a professional surfer?

No pics, but bought some regular Bulleit bourbon, and my memory does serve me correctly, I don't care for it. Bulleit Rye is very special though, worlds better than their regular bourbon in my personal opinion. Oh well I also picked up some more Buffalo Trace and Eagle Rare too. Those are great bourbons, in my opinion the very best the least money can buy!

How that black? I almost bout some.

              Knob small batch 100 proof...
Classic bourbon flavor profile. Cold, on the rocks is more enjoyable than neat, in my opinion. Click image for larger version

HouseHomey if you like Makers you should really like Larceny, and usually a few bucks cheaper.

Same as yesterday. A few fingers as I gotta be up at 4 to get to work. The dreaded "Clopen!"

Makers is fabulous on ice! Huskee I tried that Bullet Rye and didn't care to much for it. It was splendid in a Manhattan though. I really enjoyed those. I think I'll get some more.
