A margarita with homemade sour mix--divine! (sour mix = 2 parts lime juice, 1.5 parts simple syrup (50/50 water and sugar by volume)). Add the juice of an orange to the SS and mix the SS with silver tequila (don't waste the good stuff) roughly 50/50 or to taste. Tweak as necessary to satisfy YOU!

What do you think of the gold? I think I decided to stick with the regular.

Attjack Being less calories it's more diet friendly, but being more money it's less budget-friendly. I'm not refined enough to notice a difference in the taste between MU Gold and regular MU, they're both light beers you know, and that's... well... they'e light beers. Not very big on flavor either way but for lights they're good. .

Just made a Vieux Carre. Our friends in New Orleans will know what that is. An amazing combination of cognac, rye whiskey, Benedictine, sweet vermouth and two kinds of bitters. Nice. The pic isn't mine but it is the same glass and garnish. I prefer one block of ice.
