My Friday Night GoTo - Sierra Nevada Pale Ale.... Ahhhh

    Comment

GoodLife Descender IPA. 7% by volume. Awesome on a Friday night!

        Michter's Small Batch, unblended whiskey.

This is a fantastic whiskey, would consider it a "starter" whiskey/bourbon. Definitely has sweet corn, fruit(maybe cherry), caramel and vanilla. It’s soft, not too much bite to this one.

Tasting done in yeti lowball with one ice cube and about 3 fingers.

NOTE: Through research, I discovered this is technically a whiskey since it was aged in bourbon barrels. As you know bourbon must be aged in new charred Am. white oak barrels.

Just drank a Blond Vanilla Bean Coconutmilk Latte from $tar-BUCKS. I used a reward, and I wouldn't recommend it.

To be fair, I keep falling for coconut in coffee and keep thinking it's an odd mixture that doesn't work.

With dry January behind me it's a Lagunitas and a buffalo trace.

Man, I used to drink Molson's all the time. I'll have to hunt one up.

Molson Golden Ale was my fav back in the younger days. Apparently not made anymore.

I'm sippin' on a real lip smacker, a Double Chocolate Stout. Just perfect before dinner.

A George Dickel #12 old fashion, angostura bitters and vanilla simple syrup. After a few hours on the guitar early this morning, a 3 mile walk with dogs, 21 miles on the road bike, grocery store for run for Cuban sandwiches for dinner and cleaning up the patio......oh it tastes good!

A little H2O to rehydrate from acting like a Kenndy last night. Celebration ale is next on tap. Oh, and I am breaking in a new coozy compliments of Top Gills. This one is wrapped in burlap which is pretty cool IMO.

Just a mug o' Joe. For whatever reason drinking coffee out of a beer mug drives my wife nuts, but my hand fits in this handle better. Click image for larger version
