This sounds very interesting Jon McCue . What is this black walnut liqueur you speak of?

Nero black walnut liqueur. It’s a grappa, very sweet. The bitters can be angostura

    Kingfisher!

I can get it at Total Beverage or like now, in India. Much improved from when I first had it in the 90s. Attjack

        Safe travels brother!

Celebrating this foggy rainy thaw (50*) day. Flood advisory, but dry where I sit. Getting ready to do my first-in-a-long-time home ground burgers for dinner with my new Kitchen Aide grinder attachment and a 3.5lb chuck.

Mr. Bones First impression, very easy to use. I cut mine into strips and froze about ~40 min. Eventually realized I should increase the speed to 4. That worked better, at first I thought the lower speed he better for more power, not sure it works that way with KA mixers really. Easy cleanup, all parts come apart. I only used the coarse plate. Saw no need to regrind with the fine, now anyway. Awaiting the cook & the tasting! Took longer than I thought. The push stick is your friend!

      A beautiful combination.

I figgered a nearly 11 year old, Bottled In Bond Bourbon was worth a try, especial at this price point.

Funny you ask, my nephew texted me a pic of this last week. Apparently it's sorta rare up here and he was proud to have acquired it. He says it's great. I have not tried it yet, but he is supposed to come over soon for a tasting and bring it! What say you?

      Good morning AR!

          Happy St. Patricksday Neris

A friend got me a bottle of Wellers as a gift and I had some Wellers 107 mixed it with a little bit of Ole Limestone, the Wellers 107 I had bottled in a Mason jar with an oak stick since 12/7/2018, mixed it together in the proper ratio and it was so smooth
