A little earlier today at one of Terri & I’s favorite restaurants, Norm Van Aiken’s 1921. Chelsea is local bartender legend. We were fortunate to be tended to by her today. Talking to her is fascinating and educational.Click image for larger version

Gave me a taste from a taster glass. Good God, bourbon should always be drank from a taster!

Had it on tap only so far but I've seen the 6 packs in the store.

My favorite local brewery is releasing theirs tomorrow, hoping to give it a try this weekend.

The cans are good, the cause is better!

    Cheers 🍻

An atypical departure from my Guinness Extra Stout daily driver, one of which I've had/liked, previous, other which I hadn't ever tried, afore today...

Black Butte is solid. Deschutes makes some tasty beers. I’m a fan of their limited releases - the stuff you won’t find in the grocery store, but good bottle shops carry.

One of my favorites...a delicious San Diego Pale Ale made in collaboration with, and supporting the foundation of the late, great Tony Gwynn.

Glass of Basil Hayden’s. About to reach for another... I got my hands on a limited release of Basil Hayden’s Two by Two. Man that stuff is smooth!

First time I’ve seen this in the store, had to pick up a six pack. I had a resilience IPA brewed by a local brewery last weekend.
