Whenever I see your drinking post at 8:15 in the morning (here) I go, Wow, I wonder if we should intervene? Then I remember you’re in Norway.

Thank you for clearing that up, @PanHeadJohn. Gives credence to the phrase "It's always 5 o'clock somewhere." 😀

I just now read your post about traveling so much and giving up your apartment. I didn’t know what all you’re going through till just now. It’s gotta be tough. With all the crap going on right now, this place, AR, helps with the stress. I’ll do my part with posting stupid jokes. 😂. Good luck.Last edited by Panhead John; September 30, 2020, 09:46 AM.

Panhead John Yeah, it’s kinda crazy. O_o
Despite the pandemic, I’m still STOOPID busy. And yeah, that’s a double edged sword. I’m glad I’m working...but sheesh. Made it back to SoCal last night...will head to NorCal on Monday and then back to TX on Friday. Just enough time to do some laundry and grill up a steak or two. Crazy.
And that’s my current life. I finally couldn’t justify what I was paying for RENT for a place I almost never saw. It might be different if I actually owned it.Last edited by surfdog; October 3, 2020, 02:48 PM.

Wow, I haven't seen Old Crow in years, at least up in these parts.
-
smokin fool I honestly only picked that up because it’s in a plastic bottle...thus "airline proof." LOL
It’s surprisingly better than I anticipated...at least mixed into an old fashioned.
-
surfdog Ok got your drift on the airline proof
That used to be a staple up here many years ago, 24 beer and a bottle of Old Crow.
No wonder I am like I am.....maybe I shouldn't look for it again!

I much prefer their Breakfast Stout. It’s a fairly decent, if unexceptional, oatmeal stout.
Pretty tasty, which is why I tried this.
This one doesn’t have the smoothness of a proper Scottish ale. Nowhere close to something like a Belhaven. Especially the nitro version...but yeah, that’s not really a fair comparison.
Given the choice, I’d probably pick up a Kilt Lifter from Four Peaks next time.
