Relaxing before the big day tomorrow. I’m doing a custom bbq class (private event) for a group of people. It’s gonna be a marathon class from 07:00 to 19:00 => 12 hours. I’m doing brisket, beef ribs, pork ribs, Iberico baby backs, pork belly, smash burgers, ABTs, butternut pumpkins, cauliflower, tiger shrimp, crayfish, etc. it’s gonna be a loong day, filled with thin blue smoke! So I’m enjoying the calm before the storm with this one. Cheers y’all!

Drinking TX Blended whiskey. Served over a few cubes in a Yeti lowball cup (my favorite). Initial thoughts are this smells really sweet, like being at a fair, cotton candy and funnel cakes. Initial taste is confirmed, sweet with vanilla and butterscotch, kind of a creaminess too. Not a lot of heat on this one, but does linger with some bitterness. My buddy turned me on to this one, for the price $35/bottle, I’ll give another go. But Clyde May’s, BT & Maker’s are still my go-to’s.

On a whim, I added a splash of Simply Made Like-ade to it. It was a good decision. I’m out of bitters.

I used to sell TX whiskey.
If you can find their bourbon, it's better than the blended whiskey

The "distillery" they opened in Ft Worth is an amazing place to visit.

Also, each bottle top has a piece of leather from a Ft Worth boot maker

Last night made a vodka/tonic...cut some slits in a Serrano pepper and threw it in there. The heat doesn’t come through right away but as you get closer to the bottom of the glass it gets warmer and warmer. Highly recommend

Just heard an ad for these today.
Do you add your own alcohol?
Is the "k-cup" just the mixer?

The Good-One Is A Superb Grill And A Superb Smoker All In One

            Placeholder

The Good-One Open Range is dramatically different from a traditional offset smoker. By placing the heat source behind and under the smokebox instead of off to the side, Open Range produces even temperature from left to right, something almost impossible to achieve with a standard barrel shaped offset.

Griddle And Deep Fryer In One

            Placeholder

The flat top does the burgers and the fryer does the fries. Use the griddle for bacon, eggs, and home fries. Or pancakes, fajitas, grilled cheese, you name it. Why stink up the house deep frying and spatter all over? Do your fried chicken and calamari outside. Blackstone's Rangetop Combo With Deep Fryer does it all!
