Today it's Old Fashioned. I think this is number four. Oregon Spirit bourbon and orange peel off the tree out front.
Not a bad day, got pork belly in cure for bacon, and a brisket in brine for pastrami.

Is that the "flavor of the month" , the latest fad? Is that what’s really popular now with all the kids? I mean...it does have a cool name. I can see why you like it. 😂
smokin fool Dragon Stout is what Jamaicans drink, much better than Red Stripe. I need to try to find some of that up here, I’ve only had it in Jamaica. Most Jamaicans up here drink Guinness.
Red Man Been to Jamaica a number of times, Red Stripe was the only beer served at the hotel we frequent so have never tried Dragon Stout.
To be honest I didn't know it was Jamaican.
Just checked, the LCBO by me has a dozen cases. I see a visit in my future.
Odd, one review I read gave it a 7 out of 10 because it was too smooth . . . .no burn. But not sure if too smooth and no burn also means no "Kentucky Hug" warming you from within. At 90 proof the love has to be somewhere, eh?

Current cookers Weber Spirit 3 burner with a full insert griddle added. A 22" Kettle with vortex, SnS and a Smokey Joe. The most recent addition is a Pit Barrel Jr with bird hanger, 4 hooks and cover. ThermoWorks Smoke 2 probe, DOT, 2 ThermoPops and a Thermapen MK4. A Thermoworks RFX Gateway 2 probe meat thermometer.
A nice 2019 Sauvignon Blanc from France. In celebration (like I need an excuse) of my wife and I securing our appointments for both doses of the vaccicine. Massachusetts and Governor Baker have failed the residents in the management and distribution. Nothing political here, I voted for him. I'll stop there.
You want incompetent vaccine bunglers c'mon up here....
They couldn't find they're ass with both hands.
I don't expect to see a shot for 12-18 months if then.
