Totally Welcome, my pleasure to assist, Brother richinlbrg it was 'feels like 105°F when I got home from work, an I found myself outta CoCola
I wanted summat cold, an th apple juice was jus sittin there, tryin to act all inconspicuous...
Actually, it was delicious; this from a man who almost always drinks his bourbon neat.
Who'da ever thunk? lol

Other useful bits...
KitchenAid 7-qt Pro Line stand mixer
A Black & Decker food processor that I can't seem to murder
A couple of immersion blenders, one a "consumer" model & the other a "high end" Italian thing. Yes, the Italian one is a bit better, but only marginally
Instant Pot Duo Evo Plus 8-qt + accessories like egg-bite & egg holders
All-Clad pots & pans, along with some cast iron...everything from 7" Skookie pans to 8.5qt Dutch ovens
Weber GBS griddle, pizza stone, and wok
Knives range from Mercer to F. Dick to "You spent how much for one knife? One knife?!" LOL
Well, the stouts that I picked up in El Paso a week ago are long since gone. LOL
Funny thing is, I can’t for the life of me remember which one I liked best. Dang
So I’m just gonna get ‘em both again tomorrow on my way back west. ;-)
As for today...I’m having the cider...for now. LOL (Gotta chill the "Real Heavy" for just a bit.)
The cider is pretty decent, and not as sweet as most American ciders. Not as dry as the stuff I used to drink in the UK, but at least it doesn’t taste like an apple soda.
It comes from Austin but is easy to find all over central Texas.
The Scotch Ale comes from Blanco, Texas...so the "hill country." I found it at an H-E-B near Waco today... Looking forward to trying that one. It rolls in at 9.3%...so real close to an imperial stout...or a 19th century Guinness. They now have about half that. By comparison, two of my other faves are Lagunitas Imperial Stoutwhich is 9.9% and New Holland Dragons Milk which is a whopping 11%. O_o

barelfly I pass through there quite often... Unfortunately I’m usually trying to hundreds of miles one direction or the other, so don’t generally spend a lot of time there. I keep threatening to spend a weekend...but alas that may have to wait for a bit.
