I was moving them around and seeing some nice flame. Decided to see if I could get a picture. And holy cow, captured that.

โ€œHe could taste it. A sooty hot taste that came from everywhere. As if God was planning a cookout and all of civilization was going to be the BBQ. Already, the charcoal was hot. White and flaky outside, but as red as demons eyes on the inside.โ€ -SK

        Hell yes!

Keep these fire pics coming folks! We need as much as we can get from as many different members as we can for the Newsletter!

If nothing else, they are fun to capture.

      Thanks!

Cooked some chicken and beef kabobs last night on the Hasty-Bake. Well, except they were not actually kabobs ..... instead of skewers, I just cooked them in baskets over the fire. Got some good fire pics as I was finishing them.

              Love it when that happens.

A cheery little 250deg fire to start my smoke. No charcoal to start this time. Worked out fine and now I can save on charcoal. ๐Ÿ‘

Had some steaks in the SV this afternoon and after firing up my gasser for the sear, a great big ol' thunderstorm cell spawned right on top of us. Rained buckets for thirty minutes, had no choice but to pull the ripcord and put the CI skillet on the stovetop with a blob of canola oil. Got it up to about 550-600F/285-315C and got a good sear on them babies.

So here's my blue flame (Note the steam coming off the gas grill)
