Cooked up that huge porterhouse for bistecca alla fiorentina. Here's the beast going on the coals. Switched to a grate shortly after. I felt like the meat was smothering the coals and I would get hotter sear with it raised off a bit. Finished photos to come later. Spinaker

I am selecting a few per month to put in the newsletter. I have seen a TON of great fire shots that are eligible in the SUWYC thread, but they must be in this thread to be featured in the newsletter under Feed The Flame!
I of course love smoked meats of all kinds, but also like quick cooks like chicken portions, pork tenderloins, steak and fish. Really into cooking of all kinds.
My outdoor kitchen has a Lone Star Grillz Adjustable and it is wonderful. There also is a Pit Boss 5 Burner Ultimate Griddle.
There is an outdoor fire pit that has grilling capability and limited Santa Maria-style grill raising and lowering.
