    Like most everyone, I use my phone to snap pictures, but don’t like the β€œlive” photo feature on my iPhone. In this case, it came in handy because I was able to truly capture live fire and get the moment just right. Maiden voyage on the KBQ first cook.

              Searing some marinated chicken thighs after they'd cooked indirect. Just a wee flareup... they were on there only thirty seconds so no harm done.

                Richard Chrz I love the way the flame runs up the ceiling of the oven just like in a wood burner. That's super cool. Mine won't do that with LP. When I run the LP it shoots out like the Batmobile, which I think places the flame a bit too close to the pizza. I have to throttle the heat back right before I load the oven with a pizza or else it will burn.

                hoovarmin while I have not played with all the pizza ovens, I wish I could. But I did play with an ooni (pellet) and the Weber kettle accessory.

                That flame in the Gozney will absolutely run across the entire dome, you could essentially bake on the right side using the flame that crosses over. Also, with the side flame, you can easily see your proximity to the flame from the side.

                Again, I can’t speak for all pizza ovens, but, I’m super happy that I went with my gut, and chose Gozney.
