        You did indeed. Looking good.

The Kettle has been running for 8 hours now, with one restoke of the fire with more briquettes. Running Jealous Devil Max XL briquettes tonight and liking them a lot so far.

MsTwiggy at Johnson's Home and Garden in Maple Valley. They are affiliated with Do It Best. If there is a Do It hardware store near you, they may carry it. They also carry Cowboy Brand Briquettes, which I like as well

Thanks for this ecowper !! I need to try out more lump so i can find something that will burn longer in the Kamado. Good to hear you like the Cowboy. I think with the quantities I’m looking at it would be great if I can find something reasonable. Seattle isn’t exactly que country and if the options aren’t limited they can be steep. 🔥🔥🐿️

MsTwiggy I really don’t like Cowboy lump …. I like FOGO lump and Cowboy briquettes. My top briq choices are Jealous Devil, Cowboy Brand, and Kingsford Pro …. If I absolutely must, I will use KBB. Not sure what other lump is out there that is worthwhile, maybe BGE lump?

It’s spring and that means it’s time for steaks, steaks, and more steaks! But first, you gotta get the charcoal hot.
