      In scouts, we had a "Paul Bunyan weekend" every year where we would clear and split standing dead wood in our local scout camp with axe, saw, and wedge. Those were some of the most epic campfires I have ever seen... Taking out teenage aggression on dead trees with the reward being a huge fire? Talk about free wood.

      I don't keep my cookers pristine. I like the gunk buildup to keep the metal from being reflective. I scrape it off every couple months. Now, the cooking grate is a different story :-)

          Seared some thick, 2-bone pork chops after over 10 hours in the sous vide. Amazeballs!! Best I ever made. And they look marvelous.

              Brats on the Hasty-Bake …. Searing at the end to get that great charred outside that Brats on the grill deserve
