Spinaker and David Parrish I had 2 pounds of shrimp and 1 pound of scallops from Joe Patti in Pensacola and some thin steaks. I seared on the flat side of GrillGrates which covered most of the area on this 26" Kettle. So I had 2 SnS in the 26" to sear over simultaneously. Cooking these at night was fast and fun. By the time I had all ~42 shrimp on the GrillGrates it was time to turn, then time to remove. I used my 22" Kettle, SnS and GrillGrates for the large scallops; the 26" setup was for the steaks and shrimp. As you've figured out, I have 2-SnS and 1-SnS XL and 2 Kettles. This was tons of fun even though my guest/helper arrived as I was finishing up. I could have used skewers for the shrimp but I just like doing it this way. Now I'm going to lay out all my GrillGrates and see what additional sections I want to purchase.

How do you make a great burger? Tell it you are treating it like a ribeye. I forgot to tell the fries the same thing. Oh well.

Fire hitting the water pan. Smoke and heat go through a redirect box on the back of the unit with a damper.

If you have the new "portrait" feature....use it. Its amazing for taking pictures of food.

Inspired by Spinaker's photo above, this is from my BGE in 2015.
