Here's some Cuba charcoal, also known as Marabu charcoal, in my BGE. One of the best fuels I've used.

Haha It does kinda look like marshmallows

        I know it's not grilling ...

We finally got a wood stove installed in our house - seemed appropriate it was installed Ground Hog Day. You can't have a 200+ year old house without working fire!

Boris is totally addicted. He'll sit in front of it like Nipper and glare at us to start it up.

ecowper they say the only difference between a pyromaniac and a fireman is that firemen get paid for it. I was about 8 years old when the FD came to our school and did a fire safety day. One of the guys did a demo with hairspray and a lighter (not kidding). I knew then what I wanted to be when I grew up!!!

ecowper - we love it. Feeds the pyro inside when we can’t be pyros outside!
Mr. Bones - Boris is, appropriately, a charcoal tuxedo kitty. We call him the cinder cat now. Our own cinder-fella.
CaptainMike - where we live it’s "required" to have a fire pit.

CaptainMike you and I grew up pretty close to each other, I think .... I’m from the tri-cities .... Roseville, Rocklin, Loomis .... I think the big difference is that someone showed me that I could blow stuff up if I joined the Army ;-)

4am local time. Starting coals are lit for today's brisket cook on the stickburner.
