          Yes, I really like the dark gray/white residue on the cast iron grates in contrast with the glowing embers. I got lucky today.

          Did this last night but made the mistake of using almost a full chimney. Wasn't thinking. Still worked since I was planning a cook at 325-350. Mine still didn't look as neat as yours. The "K" on the briquettes as well as the grate orientation fought me for a bit. But it worked.

                  Yep, took this photo after the pork was done. Not too hot, so I could actually hold the camera above the air vent without melting it ;-)
